Cassandra received her Ph.D. in African Studies from Howard University in December, 2009. This gives her the honor of receiving the first Ph.D. in the program since it was reestablished in 1999. Dr. St Vil has gone on to work in the education arena and has joined the Peace Corp. She has a global educational perspective and is educating young minds in Rwanda.
Frankie received his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University at Buffalo in May, 2012. He went on to complete an internship with Yale University Department of Psychiatry and a Post Doctoral Residence with the West Haven VA. Frankie is continuing his work in the mental health industry in West Haven.
Felina received her Ph.D. in Social Work from the University of Houston in December, 2012. This was no small feat considering the new addition to her family in 2011! Felina works as a Clinical Social Worker in the field of palliative care and has started her own practice as well.
Natale received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from the University of Georgia in May, 2014. She is currently working on a Postdoctoral Fellowship with the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences in Raleigh-Durham.
Crystal received her Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from CUNY John Jay College of Criminal Justice in May, 2014. Crystal is a professor in the Criminal Justice Academy at Bronx Community College. She is also an avid marathoner and boxer.
Gary received his Ph.D. in Integrative Neuroscience from Purdue University in December, 2014. He is currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Emory University School of Medicine in the Department of Physiology.
Joel received his Ph.D. in Criminal Justice from the CUNY Graduate Center - John Jay College of Criminal Justice in June 2016. Joel is an assistant professor at Rowan University.
Reynalda (Egypt) received her Ph.D in Curriculum & Instruction from Gardner Webb University in May 2016
